Adobe Touch Apps: 3-Part Webinar

Description: Adobe’s Creative Cloud desktop software integrates with a free suite of mobile apps available for iOS and Android devices. In this seminar we will demonstrate a project that starts as a series of ideas and sketches on a mobile device and then transfers into a fully rendered project on the desktop. The Apps featured will be Adobe Photoshop CC, Adobe Illustrator CC, Adobe InDesign CC and Adobe Acrobat DC Pro on the desktop platform. Mobile Apps demonstrated will include Adobe Capture, Adobe Draw, Adobe Photoshop Fix and Mix, Adobe Comp and Adobe Preview.

Profiled Mobile Apps

Adobe Capture

  • Using the device’s camera to capture colours to use in the project
  • Using the device’s camera to capture and vectorize artwork

Adobe Draw

  • Creating artwork in Draw
  • Working with the artwork vectorized in Capture
  • Saving the artwork as a Creative Cloud File or sending the Art work to Adobe Illustrator

Adobe Photoshop Fix and Mix

  • Cropping, Enhancing and Cleaning up photos in Photoshop Fix
  • Removing areas of an image and adding a new background in Photoshop Mix
  • Saving these files to the Creative Cloud
  • Round-trip editing with Adobe Comp

Adobe Comp

  • Creating a project and mocking up a layout to later build in InDesign, Photoshop or Muse
  • Adding placeholder text and images to the mock up
  • Working creative cloud assets and assets on the device
  • Sending a PDF of the mock up for approval
  • Sending the mock up to the Creative Cloud Apps

Adobe Preview

Sending a desktop Photoshop file to a mobile device to for previewing (proofing)
