Accessible Design Matters

Accessibility can be viewed as the "ability to access" and benefit from some system or entity. The concept focuses on enabling access for people with disabilities, or enabling access through the use of assistive technology; however, research and development in accessibility brings benefits to everyone.

As designers, we have the ability - and responsibility - to create accessible design which parallelly also benefits a diverse range of users using products under different contexts. Every day, the need to create accessible documents intensifies. 22% of adults in North America live with some type of disability. If your documents are creating a barrier that affects their ability to access digital information, it’s time to make a change to your processes.

At Eliquo, we provide accessibility training, testing, and production services. Contact us for details or join our upcoming free webinar on February 9 to learn the basics and to get started.

Web-based training is super easy to set up and doesn't require fancy software.
